CYCLEWAY MAP

Three cycle pathways start here at Shoal Bay.

SHOAL BAY

The Shoal Bay foreshore pathway is the easiest and most scenic ride, it follows the foreshore through Tomaree Lodge around the base of Tomaree Mountain.

FINGAL BAY

Fingal Bay is a 3 km ride; the cyclepath winds its way through Tomaree National Park exiting at Fingal Bay.

NELSON BAY PATHWAYS The direct path to Nelson Bay winds its way through Rotary Park, then along the Nelson Bay foreshore to the D’Albora Marina. The longer scenic ride detours through to Little Beach.

Shoal Bay Foreshore Cyclepath

The Shoal Bay Foreshore Cyclepath is a 1.5 km easy to ride flat scenic pathway.

Beginning across the road from Shoal Bay Bike Hire, the New Shoal Bay Cyclepath follows the foreshore past the New Shoal Bay Jetty down to the Boat Ramp, the cycle path continues along the foreshore to Tomaree Lodge. A new pathway winds around the boom gate again continuing along the Shoal Bay foreshore ending at the base of Tomaree Mountain

Fingal Bay Cyclepath

Fingal Bay is a 3km ride from Shoal Bay.

The cycle path winds its way through Tomaree National Park exiting at the Fingal Bay Lifesavers Club and Longboat Cafe, a Children’s Play Area, Beach Lookout, Picnic Areas and Amenities. A great spot to stop for a coffee, fish and chips or just to rest and reflect. The cycle pathway then continues along the foreshore to the Fingal Bay Boat Ramp. A New section to the Foreshore cycle pathway has recently been added, the new path continues along the Fingal Bay foreshore past new outdoor showers and seating areas, winding its way up and around to another of The Bays hidden treasures, Barry Park Whale Lookout. Again well done Port Stephens Council.
