A tip when looking at purchasing an ebike is to take a magnet. The magnet can help distinguish the quality of the bikes components as aluminium and stainless steel are better quality materials than the same component made from steel. A magnet won’t stick to a quality alloy or stainless-steel component as it will to a cheaper steel part. Coastal use can cause the bikes steel components to rust very quickly as aluminium and stainless steel don’t.

Components to check with the magnet are, the Frame, front and rear suspension, wheel spokes (very important in coastal), Brake and gear cables (most quality bikes use a hydraulic braking system, the gear cables are better to be stainless steel) the frame, wheels and handlebars are lighter and wont rust when made from aluminium.

ToLand Huntsman 2-Seater Ebikes have components made from quality materials which are more suitable for use in coastal areas. The Wheel Spokes are made from Stainless Steel that wont rust, the Mudguards are flexible plastic, the Frame, Wheels and the Handlebars are lightweight Aluminium.
